We have also installed 4″ Alpine component speakers (separate mid’s & tweeters) for better audio clarity. A subwoofer would enhance the audio even further.

2024 p460e Range Rover Sport L461 towbar installation.
We have installed a detachable swan neck towbar with 13pin Land Rover dedicated (vehicle specific) wiring. The car recognises when the vehicle is hitched up and changes various vehicle settings to make towing safer.
We also supply the new towing panel (lower central bumper diffuser) which is shaped to accommodate the new detachable towbar. We return the original lower central bumper diffuser to the customer for future fitment (if required).
Step by Step guide:
- Remove entire bumper
- Remove boot floor trims
- Remove OE crash beam (return to customer)
- Install new towbar
- Install towing electrics
- Remove OE lower central bumper diffuser from main bumper
- Install new lower central bumper diffuser to main bumper
- Complete test and checks
- Rebuild vehicle
- Return OE crash beam and OE lower central bumper diffuser to customer
All photos are taken during and post towbar installation so give a true representation of the finished look.
This Range Rover Sport L461 tow bar installation takes around 4 hours at our workshop in Bristol, UK.
2022 Range Rover Velar R-Dynamic towbar (coil suspension) installed with a detachable swan neck towbar and Land Rover dedicated 13pin wiring.
No need to remove the towing panel but is does need to be modified so you can access the detachable housing and swivel towing socket.
2022 Defender 90 L663 installed with a detachable towbar by Tow-Trust towbars. 3500kg maximum towing capacity and 202kg maximum vertical load on the ball.

2022 Land Rover Defender 110/LWB X-Dynamic Se installed with Tow-Trust fixed flange towbar. Towing capacity 3500kg, vertical nose limit 350kg!! Detachable Swan neck also available with same 3500kg but with a reduced nose weight capacity of 202kg.

2022 Land Rover Discovery Sport R-DYNAMIC installed with a Tow-Trust detachable towbar using 13pin Land Rover dedicated wiring. The Discovery Sport models with R-Dynamic bumpers do not need any visible modification. Just a small modification to the plastic undertray.
This vehicle does not have a spare wheel underneath.
The tow bar and electrical socket is completely hidden once detached.

2016 Land Rover Defender installed with the flagship Pioneer AVIC-Z930DAB multimedia centre, rear parking camera and combined Thatcham and Insurance approved S5 VTS+ Tracker with Immobiliser to keep it safe.
To convert these Defenders from the single din Alpine radio to a double din radio requires a new facia trim (gloss or matte black), some of the switches are moved to the right hand side dashboard, this requires cutting the dash so is a permanent fixture. As every switch is relocated all the wiring needs to be extended.
We can any install any double din radio into this type of conversion, Pioneer, Kenwood or Alpine.
2015 Land Rover Defender 90 having its Alpine single din radio removed and the dash converted to allow room for a double din monitor. The conversion involves repositioning the console switches to the right hand side of the dashboard. We installed the Pioneer AVIC-Z830dAB which has built in Navigation plus Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
2020 Range Rover Evoque L551 (mk2 model) installed with a removable Tow-Trust towbar and Land Rover dedicated wiring kit (vehicle specific). This towbar design only required a modification to the underside of the original central lower bumper panel, this can only be seen if you are under the vehicle. The 13pin electrical socket swivels up under the bumper when not in use.
Installation time is 4 hours at our workshop in Bristol.
2020 Land Rover defender 110 (L663 chassis) installed with a Thatcham Approved GPS Tracker by Scorpion Automotive. This Scorpion s5 VTS version comes with driver ID tags which are the authorisation to drive the vehicle.
2019 Range Rover Velar (air suspension model) installed with a detachable swan neck towbar and dedicated Land Rover wiring. Small modification of the original lower bumper trim panel required.
2018 Land Rover Discovery 5 installed with a Detachable Tow-Trust towbar. Original lower bumper valance was not replaced, just slightly trimmed on the underside. Most other tow bars for the Discovery mk5 require a replacement lower bumper valance direct from Land Rover which pushes the overall cost of the job up.
2019 Range Rover Sport SVR in Velocity Blue fitted with some additional security systems.
Land Rover Discovery Sport (l550) Detachable Tow Trust towbar. Minimal bumper mod made to underside of silver central trim panel. Electrical sockets swivels down from behind bumper when required. This towbar suits all 2015-2019 models. This mk1 Discovery Sport did not have a spare wheel or wheel well inside the boot.
2019 Land Rover Discovery 5 fitted with a Witter R54Q detachable swan neck.
This Witter towbar only fits correctly by purchasing a new lower bumper valance from Land Rover.
Nothing can be seen once detachable neck has been removed.

We used a TJAG3VK-6217 from Tow Trust towbars

L494 2017 Range Rover Sport Detachable towbar installation without replacement OE lower panel. When towing unclip the large removable lower panel, insert the detachable neck and away you go. When you have finished towing vice versa leaving the car looking original. Tow Trust bar installed with Approved Dedicated wiring. For installations with replacement OE lower panel click ‘Range Rover Sport’
2019 onwards Range Rover Evoque (L551 Chassis) installed with Detachable Westfalia tow bar and Land Rover Approved dedicated wiring mounted to a swivel socket just under the bumper. There is no need to replace the lower bumper panel with the Westfalia towbar unlike most other towbar brands.

Range Rover Sport MK 3 (L494) model installed with a Detachable towbar and replacement gloss black lower bumper panel, these two panels are purchased from Land Rover and fitted when the bumper is off. This leaves a permanent access window for the detachable neck and electrical socket.
Sterling Excel Immobiliser installed covertly into this otherwise vulnerable Land Rover Defender.
