2020 Kia Stonic – Front Parking Sensors Retrofit

Automotive Control has retrofitted Vodafone Automotive flush-mounted front parking sensors to the front bumper of this 2020 Kia Stonic. The sensors have been colour-coded to match the vehicle’s bodywork, ensuring a discreet, factory-installed appearance.

The system operates in line with OEM functionality, activating and deactivating automatically based on vehicle speed. In addition, a dashboard-mounted switch has been fitted, allowing the driver to manually override the system when required.

This type of installation typically takes approximately half a day to complete at our workshop in Bristol.

2025 Kia Sorento MQ4 Facelift towbar fitting in Bristol.

We have installed a Tow-Trust Fixed Swan Neck Towbar and 13pin electrics suitable for towing push bikes, caravans and trailers.

The presence of the fixed towbar did not interfere with the KIA’s factory parking sensors making it a perfect option for those who do not wish for a removeable/detachable system.

We also offer a Detachable Swan Neck which looks very similar other than the handle/mechanism to detach the neck.

Please allow around 4 hours at our workshop in Bristol for this particular Kia Sorento tow bar fitting.

2019 Kia Picanto installed with front and rear parking sensor KIT by Cobra.

The front parking sensors were mounted into both colour and black bumper sections. The rear parking sensors were mounted into the black section on the bumper. Once reverse gear is selected both front & work sensors are activated. For driving into spaces you can briefly press the dashboard mounted P switch, we installed it just forward of the gear selector.

2021 Kia Sportage Gt Line edition installed with a Tow Trust Fixed Swan Neck towbar and 7pin trailer electrics using Kia dedicated and approved wiring system. This fixed towbar did not affect the operation of the rear parking sensors and no modification were done to the bumper itself.

2017 mk4 Kia Sportage GT Line edition installed with Front Parking Sensors, colour coded and flush mounted into the bumper.

2017 Kia Sorento mk4 installed with a removable Tow-Trust swan neck tow bar and 13pin fully populated caravan electrics which are on a swivel bracket.

2020 Kia E-Niro electric car installed with a cycle carrier specific towbar. This Brink detachable tow bar design is specifically for the Kia E-Niro and Hybrid Niro that are not homologated to tow (no towing capacity on VIN plate) for the purpose of carrying bicycles. The custom design towball stops normal trailers being hitched. Compatible with a wide range of cycle carriers but not every carrier, we have a list available for tried and tested compatible systems.

We can install either 7pin or 13pin cycle carrier socket using a dedicated Kia wiring loom. The socket is mounted to a bracket which swivels down when required.  Once you detach the swan neck and swiveled the towing socket back up nothing can be seen.

This type of job takes around 4 hours at our workshop in Bristol (no mobile fitting).
