2020 Kia Stonic – Front Parking Sensors Retrofit
Automotive Control has retrofitted Vodafone Automotive flush-mounted front parking sensors to the front bumper of this 2020 Kia Stonic. The sensors have been colour-coded to match the vehicle’s bodywork, ensuring a discreet, factory-installed appearance.
The system operates in line with OEM functionality, activating and deactivating automatically based on vehicle speed. In addition, a dashboard-mounted switch has been fitted, allowing the driver to manually override the system when required.
This type of installation typically takes approximately half a day to complete at our workshop in Bristol.

2018 Mini Cooper front parking sensors
Our Vodafone Automotive (Cobra) parking sensors are factory fitment (OEM) for many manufacturers. They are super reliable and have been for decades.
The reversing sensors will automatically turn on/off with the reverse gear. The front sensors will turn on below 6 mph and turn off automatically once over 10 mph. A switch is fitted, purely for manual override and programming purposes.

Volvo XC40 Front Parking Sensors retrofit.
We have added front parking sensors to this Volvo XC40 which was only equipped with reversing sensors. The 4 sensor eyes have been installed into the OEM locations giving a factory look. The sensors will automatically activate when the vehicle speed reduces to 6mph, when 12 mph is reached the sensors will automatically turn off. Our parking sensor kit also comes with a PDC switch, this can be used to manually turn them on or off.
Allow around 4-5 hours for installation at our workshop in Bristol.
2012 Porsche Boxster 981 Parking Sensors installed into the rear bumper.
We have used Vodafone Automotive flush mounted sensor eyes mounted into the original Porsche locations which are marked behind the bumper.
We also offer reversing cameras and Apple CarPlay / Android Auto upgrades via the PCM 3.1 NAV radios.
2022 Audi Q2 retrofitted with reversing camera and front parking sensors.
We have installed Vodafone Automotive (Cobra) front parking sensors. Mounted into the original blanks as seen in the first image. Factory look!
The boot handle reversing camera we installed has been coded into the Audi Infotainment screen. The image is automatically produced when reverse gear is engaged.
These parking sensor and reversing cameras have been retrofitted at our workshop in Bristol.
This job took around 6 hours in total.
2015 Volkswagen Polo mk6 (6r/6c) installed with Front & Rear genuine VW Park Pilot parking sensor upgrade
Both audible and visually displayed on the VW radio. When reverse is engaged both front & rear sensors are activated. The new dash mounted switch can also be used to turn the parking sensors on or off manually.
Allow 1 full day at our workshop in Bristol for this type of installation.
Standard Audible parking sensors and genuine RVC options also available for this model (subject to compatibility).

2022 MG HS installed with Front Parking Sensors manufactured by Vodafone Automotive. The sensors will activate automatically activate when reverse gear is engaged or manually via the dash mounted on/off switch.
2019 BMW 120i M-Sport installed with heated front seats and rear parking sensors.
This BMW Sunset Orange Metallic 1 Series had everything except heated seats and parking sensors.
2019 Ford Focus mk4 installed with Parking Sensors and Reversing Camera.
We have installed the reversing camera to display via the SYNC 3 Ford display automatically when reverse gear is selected (if you have factory PDC Overlay this would be retained).
We have also installed front & rear parking sensors by Vodafone Automotive. The rears are colour matched and flush fitting. The fronts are mounted into fog light and grill areas and in matching black colour. In total 8x sensor eyes.
The dash mounted switch can be used to manually activate the fronts, otherwise once reverse is selected both front & rear sensors automatically activate.

2017 BMW 140i isntalled with Rear Parking Sensors. We have installed the Vodafone Automotive flush fitting sensors. Colour coded to 300 Alpine Weiss 300. The flush fitting sensor heads look factory fitted. They can also be added to the front if required.
2022 Adria Motorhomes twin sports campervan installed with essential upgrades. We have added Vodafone Automotive front and rear colour coded parking sensors, heated front seats, Thinkware F790 dash camera and a Vodafone Automotive / Cobra 4615 Alarm system. For additional security we also added a Ghost 2 Immobiliser for key theft protection.
2009 Volvo S80 having Rear Parking Sensors installed. We have installed Vodafone Automotive parking sensors colour coded to the vehicle.
2021 Suzuki Ignis installed with rear parking sensors. We have used the Vodafone Automotive (AKA Cobra) parking sensors colour coded to the bumper. They automatically work when reverse gear is engaged.
2010 Ford Focus mk2 installed with a Kenwood DMX5020dabs offering DAB, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. First we removed the original Ford 6000 radio and replaced with the new Kenwood retaining the Ford steering wheel controls. We then added a rear parking camera and rear parking sensors in Ford Vision blue metallic paint.
2016 Volkswagen Golf SV retrofitted with genuine VW Park Pilot front & rear parking sensors. The ParkPilot consists of 8 colour coded parking eyes flush mounted into the bumpers, replacement parking sensors button for dashboard and all relevant wiring and modules which we code to the vehicle.
This golf SV also known as Sportsvan was in rare Pyramid Gold Metallic.
We also installed a Thinkware F800 front and rear accident camera.
2018 Mercedes GLA AMG Line installed with Vodafone Automotive front & rear parking sensors. The sensor eyes were colour coded to Mercedes Calcite White.
Automatic activation with reverse gear or manually switch on via dashboard button.
2019 Mini Clubman Cooper (F54 chassis) installed with colour coded and flush mounted Rear Parking Sensors.

2019 Kia Picanto installed with front and rear parking sensor KIT by Cobra.
The front parking sensors were mounted into both colour and black bumper sections. The rear parking sensors were mounted into the black section on the bumper. Once reverse gear is selected both front & work sensors are activated. For driving into spaces you can briefly press the dashboard mounted P switch, we installed it just forward of the gear selector.
2011 Nissan Qashqai (J10) installed with a Kenwood DMX5020dabs carplay and android auto radio. We removed the original Nissan Navigation system and replaced it retaining both steering wheel controls and original rear parking camera.
We also added a 12″ Vibe amplified subwoofer and Vodafone Automotive rear parking sensors (Cobra R0294)
2017 Volvo XC60 (Gen 1) installed with Front and Rear Cobra Parking Sensors. We also installed a rear parking camera via the Volvo SENSUS CONNECT navigation screen.
The rear sensors & camera (with moving guidelines) automatically operate when reverse is selected. The Front sensors will also operate when reverse is engaged but can also be manually turned on when button on dash is pressed. They turn off after 10 seconds.

2015 Ford Kuga (mk2 / C250) installed with a Grundig GX3800 multimedia radio. This provides Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features plus standard Bluetooth and DAB+ Radio.
We also added rear parking sensors into the lower black section of the bumper. They automatically engage when reverse gear is selected, giving audible tones when approaching an object.
2013 Audi Q3 (8U) installed with front parking sensors. We have taken before, during and after photos. This Audi Q3 already had factory rear parking sensors so we added the fronts making them look OE by using Cobra flush mounted and colour coded sensors.
2014 Volkswagen t5.1 Campervan with barn doors installed with loads of extra technology to finish off the conversion. We added all the following products to this already converted VW Transporter camper van.
- Vodafone Automotive front parking sensors, flush mounted & colour coded
- Removal of old VW radio and replace with Kenwood DMX7520DABS
- Kenwood drv-n520 front facing witness camera via the Kenwood DMX7520dabs
- Rear Parking camera with optional (and adjustable) parking lines
- Focal front component speakers in front doors (mid’s, tweeters & crossovers)
- Westfalia 321651 detachable swan neck towbar using VW dedicated wiring coded to vehicles ECU
This was a two day installation at our workshop in Bristol.
2013 Volkswagen transporter t5.1 converted into a day van installed with lots of awesome upgrades. All have been seamlessly added without disturbing the existing rear conversion which consisted of a full width rock n roll bed and fully lined and insulated panels including a floating false LED roof panel.

2021 Volkswagen UP installed with our Cobra (Vodafone Automotive) front & rear parking system. This consists of 8x flush fitting and colour coded sensor eyes, the system will automatically activate when reverse gear is selected but by pressing the dash mounted button you can also manually turn the front parking sensors only on. The audible buzzer tone for front & rear is different and also hidden away out of site.
We can just install rear only, front only or the combined kit as below.

Porsche 987 Boxster-S which had the Porsche PCM2.1 and ASK amplified audio was installed with a Kenwood dmx8019dabs wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto radio. We retained the full function of the Porsche amplifier and steering wheel controls.
We also installed Vodafone Automotive rear parking sensors, they are flush mounted into the original Porsche mounting locations and colour coded to the body.

2001 Toyota Grand HiAce installed with a Sigma S30 Thatcham Cat 1 alarm & dual immobiliser system. We also installed colour coded Cobra 22mm parking sensors into the rear bumper.
