2007 Subaru Impreza RB320 (Richard Burns Edition) with Automotive Control for some audio upgrades consisting of a new wireless Apple CarPlay Kenwood dmx8019 system, Focal 6.5″ front component speakers, Focal 5″ rear speakers all running from a Focal amplifier. Bass is supplied by the awesome Vibe Slick twin 12″ active sub woofer system. We also added a rear parking camera to the Kenwood DMX unit.
2013 Jeep Wrangler Kahn Edition upgraded with a new Kenwood Android Auto and Apple CarPlay radio. We retained the original Jeep amplifier and steering wheel control functions. As visibility is poor we also added a rear parking camera.
2016 Mitsubishi Outlander having its original stereo removed and a new Kenwood DMX5020dabs installed giving Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features along with DAB radio and Bluetooth.
2018 Volkswagen t6 Kombi installed with the latest infotainment system from Alpine. Called the Halo 9 (iLX-F903D) it is designed to be installed into the Transporter dashboard using the ilx-f903t6r kit. The system retains factory VW parking optic display, rear camera and steering wheel functions where relevant.
2010 Audi A5 having a Apple CarPlay and Android Auto system retrofitted into the original Audi 3g MMI system. The system integrates seamlessly with the vehicle controls and retains all the factory functions so nothing is lost. Have a watch of the video below.
2011 Ford Transit based Hymer Motorhome installed with the Kenwood DMX9720XDS which is a mighty 10.1″ multimedia radio with DAB, Bluetooth, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This Camper was already fitted with a rear parking camera viewed by a ugly monitor screwed to the dashboard, we removed the monitor and reconfigured the wiring so the camera could be displayed on the new Kenwood system.
2005 Subaru Forester STi WRX freshly imported and dropped into us for a few essential upgrades. Starting with a new Thatcham approved alarm and immobiliser system followed by a Scorpion Thatcham s7 GPS tracker. With the security upgraded we proceeded with the audio upgrade which consisted of a Kenwood DMX8020dabs wireless Android Auto / Apple CarPlay radio and a rear parking camera. We also added the integrated Kenwood DRV-n520 forward facing dash camera.
Volkswagen Golf mk7 Apple CarPlay & Android Auto installed into the factory fitted composite media system. All the standard radio functions are maintained and nothing is compromised, essentially we are essentially unlocking another media source from the VW radio.
2014 Honda StepWGN import (fourth generation) having its radio replaced with a Pioneer AVH-Z5200DAB giving Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. We also installed a reversing camera and colour coded rear parking sensors.
2016 Ford Transit Custom Campervan installed with a Kenwood DMX7017dabs infotainment system which has DAB, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features. The Camper already had a very poor reversing camera viewed by an ‘on dash’ monitor so we replaced the reversing camera and routed directly into the new Kenwood system to clean the dash up. We also added rear ‘fill’ speakers into the rear panels to give rear passengers a better listening experience, this was the only feasible place to install them in this particular custom campervan.

2001 Porsche Boxster S (986 chassis) having its Porsche CDR-22 radio removed, old Parrot bluetooth removed then dash converted and shuffled around to accommodate a new Pioneer SPH-DA230DAB Apple CarPlay and Android Auto system. This model only came with 2 dash speakers so we have installed Focal speakers into both front doors and upgraded the dash speakers to 10cm Kenwood’s. A Focal iBus Subwoofer behind the passenger seat gives much needed bass, fine adjustments can be made by tweaking the on dash level control. Our happy customer now has a modern multimedia system giving DAB radio, google maps and navigation, spotify and various other compatible applications. This set-up is exactly the same for the Porsche 911 996 models.
2017 Fiat 500 Abarth 595 having its Uconnect 5 system removed and replaced with a Kenwood Apple CarPlay system. We have used the Kenwood dmx7018dabs touch screen system which really blends into the dashboard perfectly and retains all the OE functionality like steering wheel controls.
2008 Mercedes GL320 (x164 chassis) installed with a Fixed Flange towbar, 13pin caravan socket & bumper protection plate. We also removed the Mercedes audio 20 radio and replaced with a Kenwood Android Auto system with rear parking camera.
2016 VW Scirocco R Line installed with a compact FOCAL iBus subwoofer running safely from the original Volkswagen infotainment system. Small bass controller was installed near the headlight switch so the bass can be fine tuned per song.
Volkswagen t6 Transporter Kombi startline brought up to date with Flush fitted rear parking sensors, rear parking camera and the Kenwood DMX7017 dual Android Auto and Apple CarPlay radio. The rear camera is mounted as central as possible.
2008 Alfa Romeo Spider (939) installed with the latest Kenwood dmx8019dabs dual Apple CarPlay and Android Auto multimedia radio. The DMX8019 has wireless connectivity.
The Original Alfa radio had factory blue and me bluetooth which was removed. The cars steering wheels were retained to work with the new Kenwood 8019 wireless Car Play radio.
2019 VW t6 flat bed upgraded with a new Apple CarPlay and Android Auto multimedia system. Use google maps, spotify, music, bluetooth all from your phone.
1999 Jaguar XJ8 having its radio upgraded to a Pioneer BT720dab. Original Jaguar amplifier was retained along with steering wheel volume controls so they work through the new Pioneer CD player.
Triumph Stag v8 in for a new Pioneer DAB and bluetooth radio after the old Alpine radio packed up. This Stag has quite an impressive audio system installing consisting of a huge Amplifier, full component speakers and subwoofers.
1989 Volkswagen Caddy Pick UP (mk1) having a Pioneer DEH-4800FD radio upgrade. Old wiring was removed, cut back to make good then new feeds ran from fusebox so radio turns on and off correctly with ignition key.
Vw Golf mk5 R32 installed with a double din Pioneer DA230dab which is a Apple CarPlay and Android Auto multimedia system. Old radio was removed and replaced the VW radio. We have retained the steering wheel functions so they still work the new Pioneer system.
Hyundai i40 Estate having a makeover. Privacy glass applied from behind drivers head backwards. Original radio removed and replaced with a Kenwood DMX7018dabs which is an Android Auto and Apple CarPlay system giving sat nav, bluetooth and music apps from your mobile phone onto the Kenwood touchscreen. Rear parking camera was also added making reversing easier with the darker windows.
2017 Mercedes E-Class (w213) installed with customer supplied sub and amp kit. As you cannot change or replace the Mercedes infotainment system we have safely wired the new Amplifier to work alongside the existing Mercedes speaker system. The gave the car the low bass notes it has never had before. Customer was very happy with the low budget upgrade.
Porsche 911 c4S cabriolet (Gen 1 997 Chassis) installed with Pioneer SPH-DA230dab multimedia system offering both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functions. This c4s was equipped with the factory fitted Porsche 911 PCM 2.1 with BOSE speakers and amplifier throughout. We have retained full functionality of the Porsche BOSE system to operate correctly from the Pioneer radio.

Fiat Autotrail Motorhome installed with Pioneer’s AVIC-Z810dab navigation system specifically for motorhomes. We also installed the mighty Adaptiv ADV-DVBT1 digital Tv Tuner and connected it to both the Pioneer and the existing roof monitor.
Mercedes Viano w639 in for a new Kenwood multimedia upgrade. Using Kenwood’s DMX7017dabs we connected a reversing camera and front facing dash camera (Kenwood drv-n520). The Kenwood has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Toyota Glanza Turbo (imported Starlet) in for audio upgrade using all customer supplied equipment.
