2025 MG ZS Heated Seat Upgrade
This nearly new MG ZS was supplied without heated seats, but a retrofit solution is available.
We install flat carbon heating elements mounted directly onto the original seat foam inserts, positioned beneath the factory upholstery trim. This method closely replicates OEM-style heated seat systems in both performance and appearance.

2019 Volvo XC60 – Reversing Camera & Full Screen Android Auto / Apple CarPlay Upgrade
This Volvo XC60 originally came with factory Apple CarPlay, however it was limited to a half-screen display. The customer wanted full-screen Android Auto capability, so we installed an aftermarket integration module that delivers seamless full-screen Android Auto, while also retaining Apple CarPlay functionality.
As part of the upgrade, we also fitted a discreet reversing camera with dynamic guidelines, improving visibility and parking confidence.
To complete the setup, the customer opted for a Thinkware U1000 PLUS front and rear dash camera system, providing comprehensive driving and parking surveillance.
The entire installation was completed in a single day at our Bristol workshop.
2020 Kia Stonic – Front Parking Sensors Retrofit
Automotive Control has retrofitted Vodafone Automotive flush-mounted front parking sensors to the front bumper of this 2020 Kia Stonic. The sensors have been colour-coded to match the vehicle’s bodywork, ensuring a discreet, factory-installed appearance.
The system operates in line with OEM functionality, activating and deactivating automatically based on vehicle speed. In addition, a dashboard-mounted switch has been fitted, allowing the driver to manually override the system when required.
This type of installation typically takes approximately half a day to complete at our workshop in Bristol.

Hyundai Tucson power boot upgrade
Upgrade your 2023 Hyundai Tucson (fourth-generation Mk4) with a professionally installed power tailgate for added convenience and ease of use.
Our aftermarket power boot system allows you to open and close the tailgate effortlessly using your existing Hyundai key fob. With just the press of a button, you can control the boot remotely. For added practicality, we also install a dedicated switch on the tailgate itself, giving you quick and easy access when you’re at the rear of the vehicle.

2023 Skoda Octavia VRS estate reversing camera installation.
We have installed a replacement boot handle with integrated camera, the image is viewed via the 9″ MIB3 multimedia screen. We have also installed a Thinkware U3000 4k dash camera with the additional battery pack, this offers extended parking modes,
2012 Vw t5.1 installed with Kenwood the new for 2025 DMX-F920DS.
The Kenwood DMX-F920DS is a 9″ multimedia system with Wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and DAB+.
The screen can angled back and forth plus be lifted up and down into several different positions.
2026 Audi Q5 (GU) detachable towbar. Third generation Audi Q5 (GU Chassis) installed with a detachable towbar and 13pin dedicated Audi wiring (VSK).
All photos provided were taken after installation. With the towbar neck removed and the towing socket neatly swivelled upwards, the setup remains highly discreet, preserving the vehicle’s original appearance.

2025 Peugeot Rifter installed with heated seats.
This Peugeot E Rifter was upgraded with flat carbon heating elements installed in both the seat base and backrest. This process involves removing the seat and carefully stripping it down to integrate the heating elements seamlessly.
As the Peugeot Rifter shares its platform with the Peugeot Partner, Citroën Berlingo, and Vauxhall Combo, this installation is also compatible across these models.
The full heated seat installation takes approximately one day and is carried out at our Bristol workshop.
2026 Jaecoo 7 dash camera installation. Thinkware Q850 front and rear dash cameras installed.
The Thinkware Q850 offers 2k front recording, movement and impact recording whilst parked up.
2025 Suzuki Jimny Radio & Speaker Upgrade.
This Suzuki Jimny came to us with a basic radio and co-ax door speakers. We have removed and upgraded both.
Once door cards were removed the old co-ax speakers were removed to make way for the new Hertz Components. This comprises of a 5″ woofer, crossovers and tweeters which we flush mounted into each A Pillar. This provides greater clarity, aimed towards the front seats.
The Suzuki radio was removed and replaced with a modern touchscreen infotainment system. The new Kenwood DMX7722dabs offers wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto and DAB+. The steering wheel controls and Suzuki USB port both retained and functional. To make parking that little bit easier, we have also a reversing camera.
This audio upgrade was completed at our workshop in Bristol.
Omoda 9 towbar installation at our workshop in Bristol
Omoda 9 having a fixed swan neck tow bar installed. The fixed towbar does not interfere with the parking sensors. We also offer a detachable swan neck for those who prefer a more discrete fitment. Both towbar options require a modification on the underside of rear bumper, this cannot be seen unless you are looking underneath.
We have used Omoda dedicated wiring, suitable for caravans, trailers and cycle carriers.

2019 Suzuki Vitara reversing sensors.
The Parking sensors have been installed into the black bumper section.
They will automatically turn on/off when reverse gear is selected.
2023 VW Grand California towbar fitting. We have installed a heavy duty Tow-Trust towbar and 13pin VW Dedicated wiring, coded to the ECU.
Once the Trailer Module coding is complete, the vehicle will recognise when you are towing. This makes towing safer and more convenient.
2018 Mini Cooper front parking sensors
Our Vodafone Automotive (Cobra) parking sensors are factory fitment (OEM) for many manufacturers. They are super reliable and have been for decades.
The reversing sensors will automatically turn on/off with the reverse gear. The front sensors will turn on below 6 mph and turn off automatically once over 10 mph. A switch is fitted, purely for manual override and programming purposes.

1969 Porsche 911 (air cooled) tracker installation.
WOW what an immaculate left hand drive Porsche 911.
It was already installed with an Immobiliser, for added peace of mind we installed a Scorpion Thatcham S5 tracking system. We also installed a Thinkware dash camera which offers peace of mind whilst driving.
2024 Tesla Model 3 (facelift) towbar
Tesla Model 3 facelifted model from 2024 installed with a detachable swan neck towbar and dedicated Tesla trailer wiring.

We have installed a Witter detachable swan neck towbar with dedicated MG electric package

2008 Toyota Alphard AH20 9″ Pioneer Radio Upgrade
WOW what a transformation! Both cosmetically and user driving experience. The 2025 Pioneer SPH-DA97DAB has really uplifted this Toyota Alphard. This imported vehicle came into us with a Japanese spec radio with very limited functionality. It left us with DAB, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and a replacement reversing camera (not original was very poor quality).
2007 Porsche Boxster 987.1 Radio Upgrade and Reversing Camera retrofit.
The Porsche arrived with the very basic CDR-24 and entry level speakers. It left us with a Kenwood DMX6523, a 2025 infotainment system, upgraded Focal front component speakers and a reversing camera. A MASSIVE upgrade!
Everything has been installed at our workshop in Bristol on the same day.
Volvo XC40 Front Parking Sensors retrofit.
We have added front parking sensors to this Volvo XC40 which was only equipped with reversing sensors. The 4 sensor eyes have been installed into the OEM locations giving a factory look. The sensors will automatically activate when the vehicle speed reduces to 6mph, when 12 mph is reached the sensors will automatically turn off. Our parking sensor kit also comes with a PDC switch, this can be used to manually turn them on or off.

2019 Swift Escape 694 motorhome towbar fitting.

2018 Jaguar F-Type installed with a reversing camera into the existing Jaguar infotainment screen. Moving and active guidelines will help parking.

2025 Kia Sorento MQ4 Facelift towbar fitting in Bristol.
We have installed a Tow-Trust Fixed Swan Neck Towbar and 13pin electrics suitable for towing push bikes, caravans and trailers.
The presence of the fixed towbar did not interfere with the KIA’s factory parking sensors making it a perfect option for those who do not wish for a removeable/detachable system.
We also offer a Detachable Swan Neck which looks very similar other than the handle/mechanism to detach the neck.
